What Our Church Believes:
WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, written by holy men of old as they were moved by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. (II Timothy 3:15,16; II Peter 1:20,21; Isaiah 55:11).
WE BELIEVE in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose; omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. God was revealed and manifested as the Father in creation; Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in revelation (Genesis 1:1; Psalms 139:7-12; Jeremiah 32:27; II Corinthians 5:18-19; John 14:26; Ephesians 4:5-6; Colossians 1:13-16; Hebrews 1:1-4).
WE BELIEVE that in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, for it pleased the Father that in Jesus should all the fullness dwell. (John 14:8, 9; Colossians 2:9, 10).
WE BELIEVE in the Virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus was both human and divine, a man born of a women and God manifest in the flesh. (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Matthew 1:20-25; Luke 1:30-35; John 1:14; I Timothy 3:16).
WE BELIEVE in repentance from sin, confession unto God, baptism in water by total immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and the infilling of the Holy Ghost and speaking in other tongues as spirit gives utterance. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16,17; John 3:3-5, 7:37-39, 14:26; Acts 2:1-4, 37-41, 8:12-19, 9:17-19, 10:44-48, 16:14,15, 31-34, 19:1-7; Romans 6:3-5, 8:9; Galatians 3:26,27; Ephesians 4:4-6;).
WE BELIEVE in living a holy and sanctified life, trusting in God for guidance and strength through his Holy Spirit. (Leviticus 20:7, 8; I Peter 1:15, 16; John 16:13; Acts 1:8)
WE BELIEVE in divine healing, communion, and the glorious catching away of the saints when Jesus Christ returns in the clouds to take his people to heaven. (I Thessalonians 4:14-17; James 5:14-15; I Corinthians 11:24-26; Luke 22:19).
WE BELIEVE in the great commission and that it is every child of God’s duty to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with people of all races, regardless of their social or economic status. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
WE BELIEVE that the name Jesus/Yeshua is the only name revealed to mankind from God with the authority and power to save humanity. (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 1:19-22; Philippians 2:10,11).
WE BELIEVE that marriage is a holy sacrament instituted, ordained and sanctified by God as a union between a man born as a male and a woman born as a female; and was established as a lifetime union. We recognize a marriage only between a man and a women, male and female as demonstrated and practiced in the word of God (the Holy Bible), (Genesis 1:27-28, 2:23-24; Matthew 19:4-6; Romans 1:24-28; Leviticus 18:22). At no time shall a Minister of The Garden participate in any way or show support by their attendance at a ceremony uniting in holy matrimony any couple or couples other than a Man to a Women, Male to a Female. As this is a direct violation of God’s holy word and beliefs of the Pastor, and congregation of The Garden.
